El cacao de esta barra de El Salvador es cultivado por la Hacienda San José Real de la Carrera, una de las mayores plantaciones privadas de Centroamérica, con unas 350 hectáreas. La Hacienda San José también posee sus propias instalaciones de procesamiento para transformar su cacao en productos semiacabados y chocolate.

Despite the narrowness of the space, the framing is beautiful and professional, and Nieves uses depth of field effectively. The narrowness of the wagons and the presence of the ceilings produce a very appropriate sense of claustrophobia and oppression. All this is enhanced by the excellent photography of Francisco Sempere. Less quality are the special effects that represent the advance of the train through the snowy countryside through the use of a model.
The production company Yago Films thought from the beginning to have an international actor to head the cast. It sounded out the American Anthony Quinn, but he was already involved in other projects.

A pesar de la mejora en el pronóstico del síndrome coronario agudo (SCA), la morbilidad y la mortalidad siguen siendo considerables. Nuestro objetivo es evaluar el efecto de la apnea obstructiva del sueño (AOS) y su tratamiento con presión positiva continua en la vía aérea (CPAP) en la evolución clínica de los pacientes con SCA.
Entre el 25 de abril de 2011 y el 2 de febrero de 2018, se realizó una poligrafía respiratoria a un total de 2834 pacientes con SCA, de los cuales se reclutaron 2551 (90-01%). 1264 (49-55%) pacientes tenían AOS y fueron asignados aleatoriamente al grupo CPAP (n=633) o al grupo UC (n=631). 1287 (50-45%) pacientes no tenían AOS, de los cuales 603 (46-85%) fueron asignados aleatoriamente al grupo de referencia. Los pacientes fueron seguidos durante una mediana de 3-35 años (IQR 1-50-5-31). La prevalencia de eventos cardiovasculares fue similar en los grupos de CPAP y UC (98 eventos [16%] frente a 108 eventos [17%]; hazard ratio [HR] 0-89 [IC 95% 0-68-1-17]; p=0-40) durante el seguimiento. El tiempo medio de adherencia al tratamiento con CPAP fue de 2-78 h/noche (SD 2-73). La prevalencia de eventos cardiovasculares fue similar entre los pacientes del grupo de referencia (90 [15%] eventos) y los del grupo UC (102 (17%) eventos) durante el seguimiento (1-01 [0-76-1-35]; p=0-93). La prevalencia de eventos cardiovasculares no parece estar relacionada con el cumplimiento de la CPAP o la gravedad de la AOS. 464 (74%) de 629 pacientes del grupo de CPAP tuvieron 1538 acontecimientos adversos graves y 406 (65%) de 626 pacientes del grupo de CU tuvieron 1764 acontecimientos adversos graves.
